I'm using a Sage Barista Touch and my puck is ALWAYS wet after extraction. I have not gotten a single dry puck yet. I've been using a lot of different beans, pulled many good and some great shots. I'm happy I get good espresso, but the really wet puck annoys me.

You trade one problem for another. The screen will cause a jetting of water to the side of the portafilter, cutting a channel into the puck.
